Orlando's main annual event is the Silver Spring Rodeo more
than 50,000 spectators come to this event and it is the largest
rodeo in the US. Of course every day is a special day at Walt
Disney World and the Oldsmobile Scramble and Classic for amateur
and professional golfers are held in October of every year
so book early! |

HOULIHANS RESTAURANT: located towards
west end of Hwy 192
We really enjoy this one and it's not far from the villa.
Houlihans Thai Chile Wings are the best wings in Florida.
A good place for a meal or just for a drink.
FULTONS CRAB HOUSE: located at Downtown Disney
OUR FAVOURITE - we just adore the King Crab claws |

CARRABBA'S: located on Hwy 192 near Marker 4
An excellent Italian restaurant. Very popular. Great service,
great food
You need to get there early in busy holiday periods.
AUSSIE
STEAKHOUSE: also located on Hwy 192 between Markers
4 & 5
If you like steak, you will love this one but again very popular
so go early
LOGANS STEAK HOUSE: On Hwy
192 on the left just after Marker 8 heading east
past Celebration towards Kissimmee Old Town. Another good steak
for meat lovers
RED LOBSTER: There are
a number of them around Orlando/Kissimmee/HWY 192

in Orlando town itself.
Disney World offers to diners a great food selection from around
the world, while Orlando town has plenty to offer diners, local
Florida cuisines and a selection of luxury hotels have a large
variety of International cooking styles to suit all tastes. |
Orlando Tipping |
Tipping is more or less compulsory
and is expected, restaurants waiters, taxi drivers and hairdressers
expect 10-20% of your total, while porters and bellboys normally
receive $1/2 USD per piece of luggage.
Good news is you are not expected to tip in fast-food restaurants
or cinemas and the like. |
